Heather LaPrath, PT, DPT, OCS

Clinic Director

Heather grew up in Havre, Montana. She attended Carroll College in Helena, Montana where she earned her Bachelor degree in Psychology. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of Montana in Missoula, MT. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, she has received specific training in differential diagnosis, clinical medicine and pharmacology, radiology and imaging, health care management, prevention and wellness, psychology of illness and disability, and health promotion.

While working as a PT in Cottage Grove Heather has continued her training in Orthopedics and Manual therapy. She earned her Orthopedic Certified Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. As an OCS, she has additional training and knowledge in the current and best research practices in the field of Orthopedics. She also has been participating in manual therapy training through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy for several years. Heather plans to continue working towards a NAIOMT certification in manual therapy. She is very excited to be starting additional training in Women’s Health Physical Therapy which will allow her to treat pelvic floor dysfunction, pre-and post-partum treatment, incontinence, post breast cancer treatment, among other conditions.

In her free time, Heather enjoys the outdoors. She spends her time taking road trips, camping, mountain biking, skiing, and running.
